Our German Shepherd puppies are happy, healthy, vaccinated, dewormed, vet checked, registered with SV and/or AKC, eligible for registration with USA/SV, microchiped with HomeAgain internationally recognized 15 digits microchips, socialized properly and come with hips guarantee.
HomeAgain is an advanced pet identification and retrieval system. A microchip with a unique identification code is implanted between the shoulder blades of the pet. The pet is enrolled with the HomeAgain Pet Recovery Service. HomeAgain maintains a national database and is available 24-hours daily, 365 days a year. When a lost pet is found, it can be scanned at an animal shelter or the clinic of a participating veterinarian. The animal’s identification number is called into HomeAgain (), and the pet owner is notified immediately.


Explanation of ratings and titles in parents pedigrees:

HD/ED - hips/elbows:
a1 is equal to OFA excellent
a2 is equal to OFA good
a3 is equal to OFA fair
a4 is equal to OFA mild dysplastic
a5 is equal to OFA severe dysplastic
a6 means hips/elbows were certified by country other than Germany , but met the standard requirements and are not lower than a3

Show ratings for dogs in Youth class:

SG - Sehr Gut - Very Good show and performance rating;
highest rating for dogs under 2 years old at Sieger shows,
the highest rating that can be obtained by a young dog prior obtaining
a working SchH title.
G - Gut - Good show and performance rating.
U - Unsatisfactory show and performance rating.

Show ratings for dog in working class:
VA - Vorzuglich-Auslese  - Excellent Select, the highest  show rating at
Sieger show; highest award given to 10-12 best males and 10-12 best
females each year.
V – Vorzuglich -  Excellent show and performance rating.
SG - Sehr Gut - Very Good show and performance rating.
G - Gut - Good show and performance rating.

Working titles:  
SchH1, SchH2, SchH3: Three difficulty levels 1,2,3 of Schutzhund
titles which means that dog passed three phases: scent tracking,
obedience and protection.
Dog must pass all three phases and have an overall passing score
or higher to get a SchH title.

DOG PURCHASING CONTRACT

It is agreed between Seller and Buyer as follows:

1. DESCRIPTION OF DOG

The dog sold pursuant to the terms of this agreement is as follows:

2. SELLER'S REPRESENTATIONS

The following representations and conditions apply to the sale of the aforementioned dog:

a) As of the date of this agreement, the dog is in good health and free of communicable diseases.

  b) The Buyer has 48  hours to have dog examined by a veterinarian and to personally        inspect the dog. Any claims must be made within this time period and will be verified by Seller's own veterinarian. Proof of inspection will be required for any warrenty issues.

c) Buyer is completely satisfied with and waives any and all claims regarding the dog's conformation, and outward appearance (meaning the dog meets the breed standard at this age).

d) Buyer agrees upon purchase of the puppy that the Dog will be registered with the name: ______________________________________ followed by a name of Seller's determination.

3. CONSIDERATION (circle either a or b)

a) This dog, identified in Section 1, is being sold for the sum of $______________, to be paid in full on ________________.

b) This dog, identified in Section 1, is being sold for the sum of $______________. $____________ paid on ______________as a non-refundable deposit, the remainder to be paid in full on the day of puppy pick up,______________. Dog or bitch will be shipped to Buyer when paid in full at Buyer's expense. All other arrangements must be made in advance and in writing signed by both Buyer and Seller.  The final payment at the time of puppy pick up can be accepted by Seller in cash form only.

4. STIPULATIONS

 a) If sold  dog/bitch is diagnosed with crippling hip dysplasia by the age of 18 months old, either by Seller's and Buyer's veterinarian or by the Orthopedic Foundation for Animals (OFA) at Buyer expense, Buyer may return the dog to Seller. Seller agrees to replace said dog/bitch with another of same sex and grade.  No replacement puppy will be given if the male or female has been bred, neutered or spayed.

b) Any other arrangements may only be made with Seller's written consent.

c) If buyer chooses to sell dog/bitch or otherwise place him elsewhere, Seller gets first chance to re-acquire dog/bitch according to terms agreed to by Buyer and Seller at that time.

5. LIMITATIONS OF CONTRACT

a) This contract applies to the original puppy only and is nontransferable to a second party. No replacement puppy will be given if the male or female has been bred, neutered or spayed. Buyer is responsible for transportation costs to and from the Seller on original and replacement puppy.

6. MAINTENANCE

a) Buyer agrees to maintain this dog in good health, provide routine preventative health care including, but not limited to  inoculation, internal and external parasites and heartworm preventative medication.

b) Buyer further agrees to provide proper exercise as indicated in order to maintain this dog or bitch in proper weight and physical shape. A proper diet consists of top-quality non kibbles type food: meat, fish, oatmeal, vegetables, fruits and berries plus supplements. Foods NOT to be fed includes highly commercialized brands with artificial preservatives, “meals” ingredients and fillers. Vitamin E is an acceptable preservative.  

c) Buyer agrees that this dog or bitch is NOT to be LEFT IN A BACKYARD OR KENNEL ONLY. This dog or bitch is sold with the understanding that it was to go to carefully selected parties and that Buyer GUARANTEES  the dog or bitch would become a member of the family. (This is to assure proper development and maintenance of the temperament for which the animal was bred.)

d) Breeding Prerequisites: Breeding of a bitch shall be every other heat cycle or no more than 1 (one) back to back cycle with a 1(one) year rest period before again breeding and ONLY after the age of  2 (two) years, titled to SchH 1, breed surveyed, and ONLY after the bitch has been OFA certified and ONLY to an OFA certified stud dog.

A stud dog will NOT breed any more than 2 (two) bitches in any one week and ONLY after the age of  2 (two) years with OFA certification and ONLY to OFA certified females.

f) Buyer agrees to provide Seller with Photographs suitable for advertising and photocopies of all awards and critiques along with the judge(s) name(s) and the Club sponsoring the show. Buyer also agrees that Seller may use the photographs and any particulars of qualifying awards in any future advertising.

g) Buyer agrees Seller will REPOSSESS DOG OR BITCH UPON EVIDENCE OF NEGLECT AND/OR ABUSE at no expense to the Seller.

`h) And finally...Buyer agrees that he/she understands this contract fully, and that this contract is under the jurisdiction of the State of  Virginia , in the county of Prince William. It is agreed the place of venue for all legal disputes shall be in Prince William County,  Virginia.
